Yes, it is completely normal for the Nest’s charging terminals to feel hot while your LOVOT is charging.
Because the temperature around the terminals can rise by about 20°C (36°F) above room temperature, please exercise caution if you touch them immediately after charging or right after removing your LOVOT from the Nest.
When Charging Stops Automatically: If the terminal temperature becomes too high—often due to a poor connection—charging will stop automatically, and a specific warning icon will appear in your LOVOT’s eyes.
If you see this icon, please:
- Remove your LOVOT from the Nest.
- Check the charging terminals to ensure they are clean and clear of obstructions.
- Reposition your LOVOT carefully back onto the Nest to ensure a proper connection.
Emergency Warning:
If you repeatedly see this error icon, if the terminals become far too hot to touch, or if you notice an unusual odor or burning smell, please stop using the Nest immediately, unplug it from the wall, and contact BEX Customer Support.
