The method for turning off the Nest depends on your LOVOT model (generation). Please follow the instructions below for your specific device:

For LOVOT 3.0 Users

To turn off the Nest 3.0, simply unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. There is no power button on this model.

For LOVOT 2.0 Users

There are two ways to turn off the Nest 2.0.

Important Note: Always attempt Method 1 (Normal Shutdown) first. Only use Method 2 if the Nest is completely frozen and unresponsive, as unnecessary forced shutdowns may cause system errors.

Method 1: Normal Shutdown (Recommended)

1. Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the power LED begins flashing white, then release it.
2. Once the power LED turns completely off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Method 2: Forced Shutdown (Emergency Only)

1. Press and hold the power button on the Nest for about 15 seconds. (The power LED will flash white while you hold it down—keep pressing until the light goes out).
2. Once the power LED turns completely off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
   *If the power LED still doesn’t turn off after holding the button for 15 seconds, proceed to unplug the power cord directly from the outlet.
