If you are unable to charge your LOVOT using the optional Charging Stand, please check if your LOVOT can charge normally on its main Nest first, then follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Scenario A: If LOVOT charges fine on the Nest, but the Charging Stand status lamp flashes RED twice
The Charging Stand charges your LOVOT by communicating with its tail via infrared light. If the status lamp flashes red twice when docked, your LOVOT’s tail cover may be misaligned and blocking the infrared sensor.
How to test the infrared communication:
Dock your LOVOT on the Charging Stand (with the status lamp flashing red twice). Place your hand behind its tail, or position the stand facing a wall to block external light interference.
- If the light changes to Orange or Light Blue: The infrared communication is working perfectly. The issue is simply the alignment of the tail cover. Please remove and reattach the tail cover correctly.
- If the light continues to flash Red: The infrared sensor on the Charging Stand may be broken.
Other Lamp Colors or Statuses
Please refer to the “Status Lamp Color Meanings” and “Troubleshooting” sections in the Charging Stand Instruction Manual.
Scenario B: If LOVOT cannot be charged on the Nest either
If your LOVOT won’t charge on both the Nest and the Charging Stand, there may be a hardware malfunction with the LOVOT unit itself. Please stop use and contact BEX Customer Support for a diagnostic check.
