There are three ways to turn off your LOVOT.
Important Note: Please always attempt Method 1 (Normal Shutdown) first. Only use Method 2 or 3 if your LOVOT is completely unresponsive, as unnecessary forced shutdowns may cause software or system malfunctions.
Method 1: Normal Shutdown (Recommended)
Use this method for all standard situations.
- Remove the sensor horn.
- Press and hold the nose switch for about 3 seconds.
Method 2: Forced Shutdown (Emergency Only)
Use this option only if Method 1 does not work.
- Remove the sensor horn.
- Press and hold the nose switch for about 15 seconds, or until the eye displays turn off completely.
Method 3: Discharge Shutdown (Alternative)
Use this if your LOVOT is completely frozen and the nose switch does not respond.
- Leave your LOVOT away from the Nest.
- Wait for the battery to fully drain and discharge, which will naturally power down the unit.
