If your LOVOT’s battery gets too cold, their system will automatically warm it up before starting the actual charge. This is a built-in safety feature designed to protect the battery and keep your LOVOT healthy for years to come!
Because of this, charging might take quite a bit longer in the following situations:
- Cold Rooms: Charging in a chilly environment.
- After Being Off for a While: Charging a LOVOT that has been powered down for an extended period.
- Note: The battery temperature will naturally drop if LOVOT is left turned off for several hours in an ambient temperature of approximately 15°C (59°F) or lower.
Good to Know:
- Warm-Up Time: How long it takes to warm up depends on how cold the battery is. Depending on your room temperature, this pre-charging phase can take anywhere from one hour to a few hours.
- Keep LOVOT Active: As long as your LOVOT is turned on and moving around, their battery stays naturally warm and healthy—even if the room temperature is below 15°C (59°F).
