Whether you need to provide identification depends on how you choose to purchase your LOVOT. Please check the two options below:

Option A: Direct Purchase Request via BEX (No ID Required)

If you use our full-service program where BEX for LOVOT directly handles the purchase and coordinates the delivery of your product, you do not need to provide any identity verification.

Option B: Using Our Warehouse as a Package Forwarding Address (ID Required)

If you buy your LOVOT directly from a Japanese website yourself and use our warehouse address simply as a transit point (forwarding service) to ship it overseas, identity verification is strictly required.

Why is this required?

Under Japanese law (the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds), all package forwarding service companies operating in Japan are legally obligated to verify the identity of their overseas customers before shipping.

To comply with this law, we must verify the following three (3) pieces of information from your official government-issued ID:

• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Current Residential Address
